Flutterby Birthday Wishes with a Rustic Feel

Hi everyone, just thought I would share this litle cutie, I made this card several months ago along with a whole load of other rustic style cards for an Arts Market and craft fairs some sold some didn't and I completely forgot that I had made it. Whilst I was at a friends yesterday I was shown a similar card with matching box that, I was told was inspired by my card and was thrilled with my frineds version so It prompted me to post it. I have lots of other cards that I made for the markets packed in a box so watch this space.

I also wondered if this would do well in my Etsy Store?

Thanks for stopping by

Message to Gail Kenny Cambridge

This is a message for Gail Kenny who signed my guest book, Hi Gail in answer to your question I do go to fairs and fetes, usually to sell a wide range of handmade items including cards. I also demonstrate creative crafts in a number of locations from the Midlands down to Essex.
I demonstrate for Capture The Magic at Soham and have three dates booked there over the next three months.

I have not yet demonstrated at Craft Fairs but let me know if that is the question you were asking.

I cannot respond to your guestbook message as the programme doesn't allow me to.

Hope this answers your questions

Kindest

Smile There is No One Like YOU

Hi everyone, just thought I would pop a quickie in today, this is the card I did for a fab friend who has been having a really rough time of it lately and yet still opened her arms with a warm welcome to offer help and support to me in my hour of need.

Its acts of selfless kindness in this world that restore my faith in humanity, I cannot begin to tell you how kind and generous this person has been, while all around her her world has been falling apart.

I just wanted to show my appreciation to someone truly deserving of everything that is good and right with the world.

Thank YOU!! U know who you are!!

Decorated Candle with Bo Bunny Rub-Ons

Hi everyone, I just thought I would share something a little different with your today. I was preparing for a demo recently that included working with rub-ons. The store I demoed in, is quite well established in this area....so I decided to try and be a bit more creative and find other ways to use the rub-ons.

The trick is to pick a pattern that will allow you to cut the sheet into separate segments and then literally rub on a bit at a time until you have worked your way around the candle, be careful to make sure that once you start a segment you keep an firm hand and finish that part before moving on, otherwise you can lose some of the design.

The candle can be decorated in a multitude of colours for a multitude of occasion's and makes a great personalise gift. Be sure to add a little card alerting to the possible fire hazards and instructions on how to use the candle safely, for example slide the paper and ribbon off before use and make sure you don't burn right down to the rub on. If you tell the recipient to make sure they leave at least an inch gap above the rub on they will be able to use the candle and remain safe. Though to be honest when they are made up like this they are rarely used as people tend to keep them as a decorative or commemorative item.

Hope you like.
